When your son asks you to build a desk that makes his friends and co workers jealous, as a father, I got competitive with this one. This desk has three combined pieces of walnut and a elevated raised live edge shelf perfect for all VESA monitor mounts. The biggest request on this desk was "cord management" and by raising that back shelf I created a back "box" where no cord will be seen. Two holes made in that shelf allow all sorts of cords to be run to the computer and no one would know. A USB C and USB A plug in allows for quick charging and data access. Sitting on a "Sit/Stand" desk leg during the day standing while working and taking meetings is one of the most enjoyable features. Once the sun goes down and the games boot up this desk shines. Wired with three Govee RGB LED strips he can run a variety of color combinations to match every game he is playing.
